The Friends group normally holds a number of events throughout the year, including an Art Competition, a Halloween Evening in the Garden, and a visit to a historic garden or landscape for Friends members.  The Covid-19 crisis has put a stop to these events for now, but we are making plans for the future.
For those who were looking forward to taking part in our Art Competition this spring, we are sorry to confirm that this has been postponed, but we are hoping to stage it this September.   Watch this space, or our Clippings newsletter, for further information.

There are always opportunities to volunteer in the garden and it's a great way to get involved, get fit, meet people, learn new skills and contribute to the preservation of his amazing historic landscape.  Whatever your skills and availability we should have something to suit you; some roles involve horticultural work while some focus on supporting our visitors, carrying out research and so on.  If  you're interested in volunteering in the garden please contact Ashleigh Catalina on  You do not need to be a member of the Friends group to volunteer in the garden, but do consider joining us anyway!
