Welcome to the online home of the Friends of the Swiss Garden.

The Friends group was founded in 1992 to support, promote and raise funds for the Swiss Garden, an outstanding Regency landscape in Bedfordshire, England.   Please click on the tabs below to find out more and to get involved.

What's on:

You can find the latest information on access and opening times by clicking on the button below, which will take you directly to the Shuttleworth Trust website.  Following consultations with staff and in line with other visitor attractions, the Trust has decided that the wearing of masks will still be required in the Visitor Centre and cafe. Hand sanitiser stations are still available at several locations in the Swiss Garden.

Please note that visitors to the Swiss Garden and to the Shuttleworth Collection should now access the site via the new entrance on the B658 Shefford Road. The former entrance, on the road between Old Warden and G&M Growers, is now for use only by those attending special events at the house.  Use the button below to visit the Shuttleworth Trust website for more information.
